[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
3am on the eve of a long canoe trip. Awaken in the middle of my dreams. "Wake up, you've got to see that". I stumbled down the yard to the dock on the lake. And it was there. I had heard about northern lights, even saw some on postcards with all their brilliant colors.
I had assumed like any one else that they only occured in the middle of the winter. I was wrong, and amazed.
I hope you'll share my surprise.
