Photographer’s Note
This is just a different view of a sunset over gull lake outside of Brainerd, MN. The car is parked at a public boat launch, you can see a boat coming in to dock. Most people are turning in from a good day fishing. I reposted trying to correct a couple things, let me know which you like better.

What a nice idea. It reminds me of the Just married photo I posted on treklens.
Very crisp details and awesome POV.

I thought only I was crazy enuf to do things like this. But I see I have company.
Having said that, this is a great picture. U brought about depth in the picture and captured the colors so well. And I like the way the picture continues into the small window also. Using a tripod really helped to achieve the precision...I am guessing.

3 seconds exposure...The glass looks just like an open window. The scene, the color, the light, everything looks so elegant. It would be great if your crop the left side a little and makes the small triangle glass complete. Or next time you can try to make the reflection aclinic, that may be interesting. Just a bunch of immature advices. Have a nice day~!

Very creative capture Kirk. Details are nicely rendered and the minimal color is very refreshing against all the black from the automobile. I especially appreciate it after viewing your spectacular panorama of Gull Lake. Perhaps this reminder will bring that image some well deserved attention.
This is fine work. Well done.

Great sunset photo! It is sharp without looking artificial. There seems to be quite a lot of vawes, that a long exposure has turned to soft and cloudy. And it is wonderful how the scene repeats at the door.
