Photographer’s Note
This is a different persective on the same subject as my last post - a dodgey motel (sign) in mid-western US town of Kalamazoo.
Again, I've desaturated the background but left certain parts in colour because I like the mood it creates (and I was going for the star (s) and stripes reference). I also cropped the shot a bit tighter.
I'm not that keen on the border but got lazy and would be keen to hear others comments - both on how they'd frame this shot themselves and which of the two perspectives they prefer. I'm undecided myself.

Hey mate,
Personally i prefer the first perspective. It was a lot more simple but effective. I am distracted in this one by the background (car, telephone pole etc) Again the desaturation is effective and I have to say your PS skills are coming along nicely. I now know where i'll be staying in Kalamazoo!

I like both shots, different perspective gives a fresh view on the same subject matter.
This is a good perspective, you might wanna crop tighter to an inch below the base of the sign in the back ground, this allows the signage to dominate the image
Well captured all the same!
