| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| According to http://cterwilliger.com/resource/carnegie/, the Cheboygan Carnegie Free Library was initiated from a grant of $15,000 on February 10, 1908. That, however, was apparently the cost to convert an existing building to a library, perhaps just the money for books, as the sign outside the structure says "Built in 1890." The table on terwilliger says that the building is currently in "Private" use as a "Title Company Office," although, again referring to the sign outside, it seems to be an open office suite which happens to be occupied by the Faircloth Real Estate Appraisal as well as Paddy Paws dog grooming service, with spaces left for four additional clients! |

Hi James!
You've captured this original illumination which give the photo a very special artistic flavour. Or is it a solarize pp?
Congratulations and greetings from Sofia!
Anton
Do you have the "Buildings of Michigan" book? It's an excellent companion when traveling through the countryside of the state. It has little write ups on notable buildings all subdivided by region, county and then town.
