Chilly morning (38 deg. F) this AM causing mist to rise from the warmer rivers and lakes. This is where the Cheboygan River empties into Lake Huron.

Hi James,
Beautiful image and composition. What great drama. I love the hint of orange on the horizon.

Serwus James !
Powerful weather conditions and nicely chosen scenery for the outstanding image. Good clarity and fine handling of light. However, i'd suggest a panoramic composition here. Also a cut in half ship (or whatever) on the left border is disturbing. Colour of the border is always a personal taste, i don't like it here. Generally, i see a more potential in this frame than You showed. But still, i do like it :)
Best wishes,
Mat

Exelent shot James, I like the very dark sky and the warm water... Very good picture James and sorry for the note.

James,
L'eau paisible et les nuages en montagne...un peu de serenité et des pulsions de retraite au calme! Très esthétique, c'est une belle photo...et un bel endroit of course. Merci pour le partage!

Lazily, I have opened the thumbnail that catched the most my eye, but I can see an interesting ensemble in your galery, a special view on places that you know well...
And often, you can find and show unusual beauty in places that would not attract us in the first place -
Bravo,
Cath.

hello james,
a very nice picture, well framed with perfect soft colours and light. the more colourful clouds on the left are a real plus to the picture.
Best regards
JMarc
