| This was taken from a hilltop approx. 350 ft. above Lake Michigan and 3 miles east of it. The lake can be seen on the horizon. On a clear day the trees of Beaver Island can be seen 23 miles offshore as well as freighters approaching or leaving Gray's Reef to the north. |
