What appears to be a fully functional administrative building is actually a repair facility for many of the interstellar freighters and utility vehicles that frequent this star system. An underground facility extending thousands of feet in every direction can berth all but the largest Volguzian slime barges, and most ships take advantage of the fully automated repair facility and are on their way within a matter of hours.
The aerials on top of the building are tachyonic thrust busters and help the approaching starfreighters slow down and manuver into the underground hangars. By reversing the intensified voltage to the braking polarity rectifier, repaired ships can be thrust back into space via the gamma/mu hyper instantiometer. |
