Nice light Robert. She is indeed very beautiful and your aperture choice really isolated her from the busy background. I would boost the sharpness a bit but overall it's a very good shot. Thanks

Wonderful picture Robert, a lovely portrait really well "stolen", I love her natural attitude and your excellent use of shallow DOF, the taxi in background well balancing the composition and add a great moving to the scene, all my compliments, very fine work!!

I assume it's a candid, but even if you know her, I think you did wonder with the many elements to build a strong compo, that all seems tied up (and tidied up) exactly where her head scarf is knotted, in the center of the compo. Really nice, well done urban portrait, that does not pretend too much, but is well-achieved, a rarity these days on TE.

Ann Arbor? Isn't that the birth place or hometown of Iggy Pop? Talk about infamous (in his heyday)!

Hi Robert,

What a stunning portrait picture, great way of showing your model and leaving the background blurred. Her face (let alone her beauty) looks great divided in two parts: dark and enlighten. And her expression is very natural as well.
