Going south from Cottonwood Falls, KS is this very scenic highway. Thousands of acres of open-range offer a glimpse of the prairie as it has been for millenium, and still very unchanged.

It's not as flat as I thought it might be, very green though. It almost looks like the grass is casting a long shadow across the road beautiful in it's own way.
