Another in my series of aircraft photos; this is actually a different Mustang from the previous one. There's an active, vibrant community across the United States dedicated to keeping antique fighters airworthy and airborne, to share with future generations. There's nothing more exciting than watching these graceful, powerful machines take to the air. (...and I'll enjoy it even more when I can somehow afford a Nikon D70 and a telephoto lens.)
Taken with the Nikon CP5k, colors tweaked in Photoshop. I'm always interested in finding new ways of modifying the color and texture of my aviation photos to resemble either damaged black and white photos or first-generation, faded color prints. |

Tom, I really like your airplanes pix, again this is gonna become my favorite. I really like when you shoot the planes from the rear, the front is so much done. Great colors!, I really like when picture look a bit like an oil painting:)) Keep it up:))

I like the subject very much - and the pilot inside the plane is a great addition. Very well framed – and your post-processing work makes the image even better. Excellent work.
I missed your previous airplane shots – they are great. So, a big smile for them, too...
