Photographer’s Note
My love of photography has combined with my love of vintage aircraft; it's a bit of a vicious circle. Although I wasn't able to do a very creative composition, given the distance and the fact that there was a fence between myself and a live runway, I think that I was able to capture the classic lines of this great Soviet fighter.
Taken with a Nikon CP5k, probably with just a little bit of digital zoom. I hate to use it, but usually have to when it comes to live aircraft photography.

It's too bad we can't include audio with an image - the Mig sure would have made an impression. The 1st time I heard one, I thought it'd be the last thing I heard. Given the conditions, you did a good job. If you have access to Photoshop, you might try to sharpen the image to bring out the A/C lines and hide some of the distortion common to digital cameras (leading edge of vert. stab.) and increase the color saturation to bring out the blues and greens.
