Summer Evening in Iowa Photo

Photographer’s Note

Hello friends,
This photo was taken at a farm a few miles outside of Paullina, IA where my wife grew up. Many people from the community come to their pond to fish in the summer, including this young family. I had been hoping to take some photos before anyone showed up, but I'm glad they did. It was a gorgeous summer evening- when rural Iowa is at its best. I hope you enjoy.

I agree that the people in the scene really add to the image. Wonderful mood, excellent tones and silhouettes make up this peaceful and natural scene. The reflection of the trees is superb. Well done.
