Photographer’s Note
I shot this on the same day as the last image. Before the reinactment of the battle, the band marched and played marches of the era. They set the mood for the rest of the day. Nice work guys.

Hello 1/2Geir
Confirms my suspicion from yesterday, yup you are going historical on us...
Very nice band, photo composition looks good but maybeyou could have avoided clipping the top of their standard bearers.
Lighting seems ok to bring out detail.
Thank you for sharing.

Hi Halgeir,
and again I like this, as the yesterday´s one...superb nostalgic effect achieved by this monochrome tones...
Take care, ivana

A little bit bigger would have been better so that we could enjoy the details a bit more. I'm all for including the tops of the flags, and also for cropping the two people on the left on their deck-chairs. As you've gone serpia, I'm assuming you've gone for the old style look, but those people on the left are anything but old-style.

An original topic and the choice of B & WX was a good idea to project us back to the time of the Civil War. Too bad you could not avoid cutting the top of these two flags.
All the best,
Emmanuel

Hi once more Halgeir,
Nice work by those guys, nice photography by you. As with your other pic from this day, I like the use of sepia tones to give some feeling of the history behind this re-enactment. From a photographic point of view, this pic is good: I see no obvious faults at all. My only concern is the small size of the posted image. Other than that, it's good.
Thanks for sharing the moment with us.
Hugs,
Tony

Hello !
I am late, but this picture is exactly the kind of pic I like.
You can just imagine the paper of this old pic, creased with part disintegrated and moulded.
A little bigger, yes, it would be perfect, but if bigger it was, maybe we could see more the two civilians on the left :D
Thanks for this picture !
Regards,
Greg
