| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| This is the eastern face of the Capitol Building in Des Moines, Iowa. I was visiting a friend in the state capital and ventured out on the Sunday for some sightseeing. I came aross this vantage point after aimlessly wandering around the city centre. Note the miniature "Statue of Liberty" in the foreground - I'm not aware of its significance. |

This is a nice shot. Well composed and with naturalistic colours. It should be cropped at the bottom to just under the park bench, to eliminate all that bare soil, and then crop a tad off the left side. You are using a good camera, but I suspect that when resizing your image you may not have sharpened it. Worth doing after every resize. Anyway, this is an appealing shot. Might have benefited from a human figure in that large concrete space out the front of the building.
Regards,
Andrew
