[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This shot was taken at DeSoto National Wildlife Refuge in Iowa right after sunset. I utilized both a hard edged 3 step grad filter and a 2 step soft grad filter. I used a tripod as I wanted a long exposure to make the water as silky as possible. I focused at the hyperfocal distance to ensure that I had as much in focus as possible.

Hi Derrald,
Lovely composition! The lights and colors are amazing. The Polarizer and ND Grads are really doing their job well and positioning the horizon at the intersection of thirds really adds dynamic to this shot. Congrats!

Hi Derrald,

Great shot with amazing colours. the colours of the sunset are stunning and the reflection on the water is great. The silky water gives this image a great atmosphere, the inclusion of the rocks and tree trunk in the foreground gives the image a great depth. Great composition and well captured.
