[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
An unusual pattern of clouds developed suddenly and lasted for about 5 min. It appeared as if they would drip down on us.

THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH FOR YOUR COMMENTS.

YES,IT is REAL.

The only processing done was the Auto-Correct, which did not really change anything much except, perhaps, a decrease in contrast by a tad.

Amazing drama for an otherwise, I think, flat part of the country.

This cloud was fantastic and you get a very good photo.

I saw clouds like this only once in my life and (pitty) I did'nt have a camera with me.

Like your photo very much.

Hi Boothapuri,

wow...another planet? I would imagine that storms on Venus must look like this...wow!

Take care, Ivana

Hello Boothapuri,

Very interesting image, the clouds give a really stormy mood to the photo. Nice work. TFS.

I think after having taken a few shots, I would have wanted to run and hide somewhere!

I'm glad that the houses below where not very noticable as they would have detracted from those ominous clouds... woow spooky!

Send it in to National Geographic.
