Breakfast Club -
Every home Purdue Football game is preceded by students dressing up in costumes and lining up at the campus bars as early as 6 AM. Sports illustrated named it the number one pre-game ritual in college football. One of the bars (Jake's) blacks out their windows so that it gives the feeling of it being night while you are inside. It is a real shock as you stumble out of that bar in a drunken state to be met with the blazing morning sun in your eyes.
It is rough waking up so early to attend breakfast club. But once you get there, it is the wildest and most fun time one can have at the bars.
This was the breakfast club preceding the Ohio State game last weekend. This was the first time I went to breakfast club solely for photography. More pictures from this event to come.
In the workshop is a picture of the line forming around 6:30 AM waiting for the bars to open...the sun has not even risen yet. |
