[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Colt World Series is played every year in early August and it features teams from different regions of the U.S. as well as Europe, the Carribean and (most of the time but not this year) Asia.

In this game the team from Michigan was losing by a lot to the team from the Bahamas but in the end the kids from Michigan shocked the Bahamians by scoring 9 runs in the final inning to win the game.

Somewhere around the 4th inning or so a batter for the Bahamas hit a short fly ball which appeared to be heading towards the center fielder. As I focused on and followed the center fielder expecting him to make the catch, the left fielder suddenly appeared out of nowhere to grab the baseball.

Look closely and you'll see the foot of the player on the right directly on top of the other player's foot. Both kids were moving at full speed so it was very fortunate that nobody was injured despite both players hitting the ground right after this catch was made.

I love the name of the company advertising in the background.

Hi Gregory,
Perfect moment to capture the athletes and very well balance the 'kirby risk' as BG. Colours and sharpness are very well. tfs

magnifique photo, très nette malgré le mouvement des joueurs, et les couleurs sont bien présentes.
Bravo

Hello Gregory,

Great action shot. It would even seem that the player on the right sprained his ancle as you shot this photo. Very nice sports shot. I think that you captured a great moment in the game, and definately in the ining.

Friendly,
- Halgeir

excellent timing and I really like the background sign. A play on a play I guess. That's some big glass you have there. If you ever get tired of it, I'll give you my shipping address.
