Photographer’s Note
Beachwalk is a resort village of brightly colored summer cottages, white picket fences, and yards full of beach grass. It is located in Michigan City, Indiana. The houses border a small pond. Lake Michigan is just beyond the horizon: a short trek on a long board walk over gently rolling dunes.
This was taken just after sunrise in July, when there was a bit of a haze that accentuated the red coloring and the heat of the day that was coming.
I further accentuated the red and a little of the blue in this photo.
