Photographer’s Note
This beautiful old plant, built in the 19th century and operated as a Colgate Palmolive plant, was closed in January 2008, leaving 500 employees out of work. It's huge sign, seen all over the area, is now just a sign of the times. The building is too beautiful not to photograph, and there's plenty of room in the empty parking lot.

Hi Carol,
I see what might be happening here - your camera must be taking the photos at a much smaller resolution than it is capable of. You need to make sure it is set to take the highest resolution photos that it can. Jpeg fine or something like that with the highest numbers it offers. This photo has a lot of "artifacts" that happen when you move photographs beyond the resolution they were shot in.
Good luck!
