Photographer’s Note
Shot just a few miles from my home, in Northeastern Indiana. Canon 5D with 17-40mm lens attached. Polarizer and 2-stop ND grad on the top also used. I waded into about 3 feet of water to get the camera close to the rocks to get this perspective. Just a sliver of ND grad was necessary to balance out the relative brightness of the overcast sky with the dark, polarized water. Exposure was 1.3s at f/22.

Hello Ben,
A not so special sight made special by your point of view, the use of a wide angle to have the leaves and the rocks in the foreground, the long exposure to create the fluid water flow and good light overall light management.
Well done.

Hi Ben,
This is a really good shot, you've acheived a great effect on the water as well as great depth of field which makes the leaves resting on the rocks really stand out. I also really like the static nature of the top fifth of the shot, as this really contrasts to the movement of the water below.
Great shot,
TFS
Cheers
Simon
