Photographer’s Note
This flag hung off the early 1900's style house I rented while in college. I doubt the flag had been hanging there that long, but it had been there long enough to become completely faded by the sun and weather. I never took it down, even in the winter, which probably explains most of the deterioration. I don't remember why I took the photo, but I like to look at it now and think about how much it symbolizes what America has weathered, what that old house has weathered, and what my life has weathered. It's a bit cheesey, but I think it's a nice photo none the less.
