Photographer’s Note
Chicago Skyline, April 2004
Because of the ever changing nature of Chicago's weather, the city's skyline looks different every month, practically. Not sure where the reddish tinge of the sky comes from but it was a little bit red last night ... and windy and still, cold. There was a lot of wind last night coming in from the lake and my tripod was a little bit shaky. This was the best shot I can get in last night's condition. Hope you like it.
Not much, just correcting the tilt, cropping and unsharp mask.

Nice shot, Ken !
It's always a great pleasure for me to see this kind of skylines.
Here the colors are really beautiful and the lights impressive.
Just a little thing : I think you can add still a little bit of sharpness.
But it's a real successful shot, congratulations Ken.

Great to see this current view of the Chicago skyline, Ken. Of course, I don't need to tell you that the panoramic presentation is just perfect for the topic - I saw your note and comments for Yves, so I think given the circumstances you made a fine shot here. Thanks for sharing it.
And, yhanks for being such a a stalwart supplier of material for my "Sears Tower" theme, it would be nowhere if it weren't for your work ;-)

Well done. I tried a similar shot in Sydney a month or so ago, and the wind was a problem for me too. Have you got the remote release for the D70? I also pu myself between the camera and the wind and stretched open my coat to shield the wind. It works sometimes ;)
