This is what you see from the 103rd floor of the Sears Tower viewing the northeast side of Chicago from the west side of the city at night. Pretty much you can see part of the loop (downtown) on the immediate foreground, the north part of Grant Park (with Millennium Park) on the right - with the Pritzker Pavilion alit in blue and neighboring Aon and Prudential buildings, and in the far left is the John Hancock Tower on the magnificent mile. The intensely lit building in the middle is the Wrigley Building ( here's a photograph by dsidwell ), lit up every night.
Here is almost the same scene except during the day.

What a beautiful picture! Very good colors. Looks like the buildings in blade runner!

I like this shot and the occasional bits of color spread throughout it. You can even see the like reflecting off of the water on Navy Pier. I think the shot would look a little more uniform if you rotated the frame slightly counter-clockwise.

Joli tavail de nuit, c'est assez dificile de bien sortir la nettete avec ces capteurs numeriques. mais j'aime le cadrage et la dominante dorée.

An impressive view of the city, Ken, with an also impressive amount of golden light that pleased me a lot; I also liked your note, as well as the links you provided, all of them with excellent photos. Well done!
