Really, this was the first real spring weather we had here in Chicago, yet only a few people were out. Taken at Lake Michigan on Lakeshore Drive and Fullerton looking south at downtown Chicago (Magnificent Mile and Streeterville areas). The dominant building in the middle is the John Hancock Center, a 100-story multi-use (commercial, office and residential) building, recognized for its distinctive architecture, prestigious location on the Magnificent Mile and presence on Chicago's skyline. Designed by renowned Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, the John Hancock Center was completed in 1970 and has an observatory on the 94th floor.

Awesome composition and the sharpness is great. I just really like how the bemch is so prominent and the two humans are off to the side. In a photo where there is so much their solitude is charming.
Great composition and sweet too.

Nicely framed view of the downtown area, and good PoV catching the couple to complete the shot. Well seen.

Superb composition who oppose this cool place with two gentil talking people at the presume frantic life of the big city. Your title is very appropriate. Regards.

Big city - little people, a nice sentiment for a title but arguably unnecessary for a picture as well seen and executed as this one.
I like the blue shadowed verticals of the city buildings framed by the verticals of the tree trunks and I like the quality and direction of the evening light.
This bench is getting to be famous, watch out for sitters fees :o)
