Photographer's Note

Fift of "Learning the Art" is been taken in the exhibitions of the "Institute of fine Arts" in Chicago. One of alltogether 4 amazing stained glass panels of the famous artist Marc Chagall (1887-1985).

"Sanat'ı Öğrenme"nin bu beşinci karesini Chicago'nun ünlü "Güzel Sanatlar Enstitüsü" salonlarında çektim. Toplam dört panelden oluşan bir Marc Chagall (1887-1985) çalışmasının 1/4'ü.

hi mesut,
your series of artworks are wonderful, displaying as they do some of the most famous pieces of art in the world, and all from the comfort of our own living rooms.

it is the luminous quality of this picture that really stands out with the deep blues creating a wonderful image. as with all your pictures in this series, the inclusion of a figure in the foreground puts the artwork in the context of a gallery.

Quelle belle découverte avec émerveillement qui vient me réjouir le coeur et l'âme dans le jaillissement de la lumière des vitraux de Chagall.
La silhouette parfaitement placée semble faire partie intégrante du vitrail.

J'aime beaucoup l'idée de la spectatrice devant l'oeuvre d'art. La jeune femme devient une forme concrète devant un vitrail lumineux. Elle nous situe bien dans l'espace et nous permet d'apprécier la belle luminosité du vitrail.

Great picture in this series, dear Mesut. I 'd have been tempted to turn the woman's presence into a completely black silhouette here, so I wonder if you considered it.

I like how the woman is completley 'absorbed' by the artwork.

Merhaba Sevgili Mestu,

Iste bu da Pictures at an Exhibition için güzel bir aday. Mac Chagall'in sanatini her zaman sevdim, ve hatta "Math and the Mona Lisa" adindaki kitapta Birlesmis Milletler Binasindaki 40-panelden oluşan bir çalismasini dahil etmistim. Bu fotografda seyircinin bulunmase tabii harika.
