Photographer’s Note
This could be the lighthouse of Jules Verne's novel.... I took this picture in Chicago from Navy Pier. I dedicate this picture to my TE friend Darek darek1978... the master of lighthouse pictures!
I hope you like it.
Have a great weekend!

hi Sergio,
exactly one week ago I was standing right where you were when you took this shot :) I like a lot the minimalistic scene and "end of the world" feeling. I might have tried a different composition with horizon less centered though, especially since it looks as if you had intensive sky, more space could have been left for it.
best,
Kristine

The lighthouse seems have nice archtecture, but looks badly conserved. It is possible go there? I think a close view (maybe using a tele lens) could gave a better view of it.
I like the sky color and the little waves on the sea.

Bonjour Sergio.
Bon week end !

The concentration is on the real middle of the photo. This is also spectacular festival of blue, Sergio. Clever idea. Many thanks for sharing and of your recent visit.

Hi Sergio,
Thank you very much for dedication. I like lighthouses a lot I must admit. This lighthouse is absoutely wonderful. The lighting and colours are outstanding with nice sharpness and detail. The blue sky provides a great backdrop for the scene. Splendid work my friend!
Thanks for sharing,
Best regards,

Well, Sergio, I'll give you the "end of the world" part. You've succeeded in showing remoteness of place. I like the lighting and the colors, too. The one thing that stands out on the other side of the ledger, though, is how dead center the lighthouse is, both vertically and horizontally. I think you could make it much more interesting if a) you took the light off center and b) if image and camera permit, make it a little bigger and more powerful in the scene. It has beauty. It lacks presence.
B for effort, though.

Hola Sergio!

Bonito trabajo, y bonita dedicatoria.
Un abrazo,
Josep

Hi Sergio,
While we are rowing and shipping below the sky and on the sea, light house seem as our only hope and vision attraction, I like this scene in peaceful and silent feels, distinct photo, nice color, thanks for sharing.

Hola Sergio:

Saluti, Nino.
