a really pretty doorway from the building next door - i love little details like this.. it makes me smile when i see something that's tucked away in a corner, unable to promote it's loveliness to the world but still content just to "be" lovely.. to wait for someone to come across it by chance and marvel and smile at it's charm and beauty... it makes a dreary day so much brighter :) i wish we still lived in a time when even a little side door was worthy of applying someones craft and skill to create a thing of beauty out of even the most simple, necessary, everyday things of life... it makes for a richer, more inspirational world..

nothing much done here other than minor enhancing and some extra saturation, the yellow and red brick tones of this building are really very rich and striking.
