Photographer’s Note
This dreamy architectural beauty is the Hodgepodge Lodge.. a terrific B&B down my street in Champaign, Illinois.
Oh goodness i love this house... love it!! it always makes me smile whenever i see it.. aside from being stunning and gloriously purple (hurray!) looking at it is like escaping into an Edgar Allan Poe story... but without the sticky outcome that such houses usually lead to! ihih
I took this pic at Halloween which explains the cobwebs :)

I like the title, it works well with the image. The house itself and the way you have captured it with all these bushes and trees framing it gives it the feel that it's growing out of them. The sun coming through adds an extra touch to the scene with a special radiance shining onto this little full garden and eclectic home. The cobwebs add a fun touch so it was a good time to capture an image of it. The addition of a few emerging fall colors works well with the house, also. For some reason I think the fall is the best time to see these older homes. There just is an atmosphere that really brings out the architecture. And also there is a nice path to follow to the door that lets us right into the scene. Nicely done.

Interesting shot Ayda. You've made the house look spooky, a la Hitchcock. Did I hear someone call "Mother!" Mother!" ?
Nice colours and good composition. The sun shining through is a plus.
