The monk is feeing a cat and he have to stand close to the cat in order to protect the cat from all the dogs. The monk called the cat for a long time before it came to eat because it scared of the dogs. It's alway happy to see soneone helping the other or something else without condition.

This is a very nice picture, Kai. I shows a nice incident in Thai life. Animals are always protected in the temples.It's nice to see the old monk having respect for all living things.The composition is nice, with the action running along the wall and being stopped by the figure of the monk at the end.

There is a small temple i go to from time to time where there are cats, dogs and a monkey. They never seem to have any territorial or food problems between them.

The monk looks so typically serene...
