Photographer's Note

The countryside around Ireland features a variety of ruined buildings; castles, abbeys, churches, and on many occasions, those less romantic such as ruined farmhouses.
This particular little farmhouse is situated about 8 miles outside the town of Trim, Co Meath, and is a testament to those who tried, but did not succeed in conquering the land.
