Photographer's Note

More London is a 53, 000 m3 area on the South bank of the River Thames between Tower bridge and London bridge. The buildings in the area include City Hall that is the headquarters of the Greater London Authority (GLA) which comprises the Mayor of London and London Assembly. The city hall is seen at the left of the photo. Next to City Hall there is a sunken amphitheatre called The Scoop. More London contains many professional services and financial services firms such as Ernst & Young ,PricewaterhouseCoopers , Lawrence Graham, Norton Rose, Markit Group Limited, Montagu Private Equity, HG Capital, Terra Firma Capital Partners and Hewitt Associates.

Nice cityscape photo. The water with the boat in FG makes the composition very good.

This is a picture of new London, with the modern architecture.
Splendid cityscape with all the building on one row.
Very nice picture with the river in foreground.

The City Hall is depicted here and elsewhere quite often (I have some here too!), but I've never seen it from this angle and with surrounding buildings.
The hroziont format and the speedboat add a lot to the composition.

Hej Ulf,
This is far from the London style I learned to recognize when I grew up, but some of these buildings are very attractive and seem to be well suited to the nearness of the river. I suppose these glass façades will change their appearances with the changing weather, which would create an interesting spectacle for people lliving and working nearby. The panoramic cropping suits the view very well and the red speedboat is a fine detail.

nice the view as the presentation of the modern part of London,with the glass facades of the buildings to are the main characteristic of the image.
I like the light and the colour management as the clarity of the scene.

Modern cubical edifices, and one as a 2/3 of a ball, some architect played lego along the Thames...
Nice view, collected well from the other bank, on a grey sky day's - but manage fine shot.
