A dry river in a canyon through the Oman mountains with a tiny oasis, only 3 palmtrees and water. A wadi is a valley or a dry river ...only stones and rocks.

Qu'il doit être agréable de flaner un moment dans ces canyons . L'eau est si rare dans ces contrées ! En outre , le décor est grandiose .

Bonjour Jean,

Les diverses couleurs et tonbs des rochers sont attrayants. L'eau et les palmiers apportent une touche de fraîcheur. La bonne luminosité fait bien ressortir les couleurs et la netteté est très bonne.

L'eau qui sourd dans cette arridité, et ces trois palmiers sont spectaculaires. La composition est très agréable à regarder. Les autochtones ajoutent à l'intérêt de la composition. La qualité est excellente. Bravo.

A good daily life scene from Oman with impeccable sharpness & a nice 'z' pattern of the stream that adds lead in lines. The 2 people add scale. I like the splash of greenery added by the 3 date palms at right. Bonne journée!

An amazing colors of the rocks, jean, and a nice view on the desert oasis.
The two men standing on sides gave a good scale on the whole image.

wow, this is a spectacular landscape. I admire the perfect sharpness and clarity and the extraordinary colors. It seems to be in the middle of the day and I would assume that you would have plenty of strong shades and tendency to overexposure but you have captured it perfectly. The colors of the rocks are fantastic. Incredible that you have squeezed so many different color tones and textures in the frame. The people in traditional clothes add a feeling of an old times and provide a great scale markers.

Rough beauty of this place is fascinating. Those palms sort of emphasize roughness of the nature, even flowing water is not enough to sustain further growth. Good framing spanning from water on lower left to palms on top right.

J'ai vu un docu sur les Wadis et le partage de l'eau dans les régions rurales à Oman il y a quelques jours (TV5)... très intéressant... Cette photo montre bien la topographie des lieux, rochers, palmiers et accessoirement, de l'eau.
Textures et couleurs très sympa.
Qu'est ce qu'il y a d'écrit sur les rochers... d'ici je vois: FIN....TERRA!
