I took this photo in Yarrow Valley Park at one of the lodges. Yarrow Valley Park is in Coppull, Lancashire. I managed to capture this swan taking off.

I thank you for your very kind review. The swan in process of taking off from the water surface is a decisive capture. The swan appears as though it is running on the surface. It is not very easy to capture a bird in motion. You have seen it, you have tried it, and you have succeeded at it well. I don’t know if I could do the same. It is a very successful photo. One must act very fast! And you have certainly done that so well with an accurate framing, my compliments!
