Photographer's Note
This is the first true winter since many years. It created different wonders in the nature. I show one of them - the ice-curtain at the beach, where slowly waving sea made these amazing forms. Although taking this photograph wasn`t very easy, because of the water which tried to pour into my shoes :), I`m quite satisfying from the effect. The same way the sea created this, when the waves got bigger it destroyed the curtain (I was there several days later), so no one can have the same place on photograph... sad or not..?
This is my first uplod for few months, meanwhile my anniversary on TE gone, I thought many times of being back here, but I couldn`t for a lot of reasons... I still have not much time, but I hope to be here a little often...:)

Witaj Henryku,
Pozdrawiam

Hello Henryk,
It has been a long time since I last saw your images here.
This is an amazing image as we never see the ocean freeze as this here on the west coast of the US. If it does anywhere in the US for that matter. A wonder of nature that you have captured perfectly,
Good to see that you are back at least once...

Hello Henryk,
This is a good example of natural ice-architecture work made by the waves and frost. It was a very clever idea to capture such a beautiful scene. The good point of view, excellent light and impeccable photographic quality were helpful for creating the so wonderful image. Brilliant job!
Best regards,
Sergiy

Hi Henryk, beautiful picture. Nice POV, it is a bit yellow, I guess it is from the sun's white balance.

Good morning Henryk,
welcome back after your long absence from the site with this beautiful shot.I like the construction of the ice curtains at the beach and I wonder how icy were the atmosphere to freeze the sea water.Well done.

I'm glad you're still taking photos.

Hi Henryk
Un hiver impitoyable qui n'a épargner personne en europe et qui donne d'incroyable formation de glace trčs spectaculaire et beau a la fois malgré le froid, belle lumičre pour adoucir le paysage

Witaj Heniu. No, znowu ciekawa sceneria, tym razem zimowa. Najbardziej interesują mnie pejzaże i natura.
Takie fotki jak Twoja wręcz mnie zachwycają. Jak piękne
są takie twory, super. Pozdrawiam Piotr.

Witaj Heniu!
Fajnie że się reaktywowałeś...
Wiem, wiem, mnie też brakuje czasami motywacji.
Bardzo malowniczy fragment- te lodowe kurtyny przypominaja nieco formy jakie można spotkać w jaskiniach
Pozdrawiam

Witaj,
Miałem podobne myśli podczas mojej przerwy w pobycie na TE. Jakoś nie mogłem sobie znaleźć czegoś wzamian. Próbowałem coś wbijać na Stocki - z małym powodzeniem i jakby bez przekonania. W końcu coś we mnie pękło i postanowiłem ponownie bywać tutaj.
Pozdrawiam,
Jurek

Hello Henryk,
Seems like you have a strong winter in Poland this year!
Cold days with plenty of snow - how nice is that hehehe...
Personally I'm happy the winter soon is over, but I agree one can find some very special motifs for photography..!
Greetings,

Hi Henryk.
Amazing formations, something I will never see here in NZ, and something even more amazing as I sit here in 24 Deg C.
Well captured, nice light and colours. Good work and thanks for sharing.
Cheers, Paul.

I love the impermanence of sea ice, particularly the ice in the sea. It's good that you took the photo that day Henryk. The winter has been exceptional in Europe, and so I thank you for keeping a record of the extreme cold.
I assume the brownish colour comes from the sand?
Have a great weekend.

Hey, you're back!
And not only one new post but 3. Amazing effect of frozen ice on the beach. That's quite an impressive artwork of nature, something impossible to witness around here. Too cold for me but I would love to visit this exhibition. Love the diferent textures.
I was away for some days. A friend was visiting me and we had great fun snowboarding :)

Hi Henryk,
This image is very interesting, because we see the hardness of this winter in your country (and in the whole Europe), and its effects on the waves and the beach.
The textures of the ice are amazing, and the light and the shades on it create a nice graphism.
A beautiful work, my friend.
Best regards,
Josep

Bonjour Henryk,
Daniel
