Photographer's Note
only in dubai can you ice skate in the middle of the worlds biggest shopping mall. It is in the middle of the worlds tallest building the Burg Khalifa standing 836meters tall. Lucky for me i was in Dubai on the 4th of January and had the pleasure of watching one of the best firework displays i have ever seen, along with the dancing waters it made it a day to remember.I also had the fortune to be able to go up the Burg to the viewing area on the 124th floor,( the lift takes 60seconds) the sight at night was something i will always remember you can see for miles accross Dubai.

I love ice-skating and that would be wonderful to be there any day ... A lovely shot full of action.
Is there a referee on the ice???
At the first blue like?
Thanks for this post, greetings

Hallo Adrian!
What a pleasure! Welcome back! This really is a very special place - but somehow it's also an insanity concerning environmental aspects, isn't it?! Nevertheless an interesting contribution truly in terms of TE!
Greetings from Germany, drowning in snow - 65 cm in my garden - and on my roof!

Hi Adrian, Nice to see you posting again, This shot has a very good POV from the high position, you have captured almost all the action on the rink, I'm not the best ice-skater in the world but I do like to have a go' my wife’s much better, however I can ski & that sort of makes up for it, kind regards Wilson.

Hi Adrian,
Who would of imagined this scene 50 years ago, ice skating in the desert.
Your prespective is perfect catching the whole rink and the ease for some and the strain for others to keep vertical.
Regards, Tom
P.S. Hope all goes well with your recovery
