Photographer's Note
Shamanic Visions
Much evidence of occupation by man from the neolithic period to the Iron Age has been found in this area particularly at the caves in the bay. All this is well described on the one-mile-long (2km) whitepark Bay Nature Trail.

Excellent image! Love the softness of the water, as well as the rock formation in the foreground. The rock creates a nice line for the eye to follow.

Hello Stephen,
This is a first rate photograph of the sound, the slow shutter speed, tripod and just the general composition have all collaborated to create a surreal image. This image befits your wonderful gallery, almost all sensational. In that small spike shaped rock near the foreground do you see a reclining face, nose, and mouth...
Warm regards,
Bulent

Hi Stephen,
Uau! Magic! I like a lot the blurred sky and water creating movement.

Hi Stephen,
The silky water surface, the blurred movement of the clouds, the rich colors, the perfect vertical perspective, and more make this shot a winner. Very well seen and executed. TFS. Gerald

Stephen,
This is another great long exposure from you library. The long exposure gives the water a ghostly look. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and DOF. The opening between the rocks and cliff leads the eye through the shot.

Hello Stephen,
An excellent long shutter speed image here. The landscape appears to fall off the edge of the Earth.

Hi Stphen,
I like here how the rock in the water lead the view to the big one out of the water!

Oooh, this has a daytime spooky feeling!
Great shot though! Did you use just one exposure for this or did you use more?
BTW i have just ordered one of those super dark ND filters, i can't wait for it to arrive!!!

Great shot, and really interesting use of the ND filters to give this very long exposure. The smoothed out waves and the motion of the clouds in the sky gives this a very unusual and beautiful look, taking the scene out of our normal experience and making it almost supernatural. Superb!

great work in post production and spectacular composition at the same time... Wonderful landscape with many details to see, and the eyes are easy to lost themselves...

Hi Stephen
Sorry for my late anwser, but i've been away and i'm now trying to catch up, february is a very nice time around here as you have your moody skies and almost no turists, so you have the places all for yourself, if you think of coming and need any help just let me know.
As for this image, i think is great with those rocks in the foreground leading my atention to that big stack, and also love the blured clouds due to the long exposure.
Have a nice day

Hi Stepehn
The long exposure has an incredible effect here on the water and sky. Such a contrast with the sharp rock. Excellent depth too thanks to the way the rocks lead up.
