Photographer's Note

I spend Several weeks in lapland this winter to capture the northern lights. After cold nights, cloudy nights & nights with weak northern light I could capture this one! This panorama is composed from 5 vertical pictures and put together with CS4. You need to be quick as the lights are moving. With this I mean 20s exposure - 20s charging on camera. While it is charging on SD card you can move a bit the camera so you're ready for the next 20s shot!

Hi Christophe.

Northern lights have always been one of the things I wished to see once. Now I've seen it two times. I didn't get any really good shots though, but this is indeed a good one. I like how you managed to place the cabin at the end of the northern lights. The exposure time is exactly right.

Hi Chistophe,
Beautiful wide angle view of Northern Lights in winter of Lapland. You got a quite clear view, and also the stars are pin sharp. Light coming from that cottage is well placed on the corner.
