1. maja 1886. stotine hiljada američkih radnika su izašli na ulice da bi zahtevali opšte prihvatanje osmočasovnog radnog dana. Čikago je bio centar pokreta.
Prvi maj ili Međunarodni praznik rada je praznik kojim pripadnici i simpatizera radničkog pokreta obilježavaju sjećanje na žrtve koje su njihovi pripadnici radničkog pokreta podnijeli kako bi se izborili za veća radna prava.
Danas, ujutru rano, ljudi idu u prirodu, spremaju hranu i druze se proslavljajuci praznik rada.
Spremaju se specijaliteti mesa na rostilju, pecenje prasece i jagnjece na razanj.

1 May in 1886. Hundreds of thousands of American workers took to the streets to demand the general acceptance of an eight-hour workday. Chicago is a center of movement.
May Day or International Workers 'Day is a holiday that members and supporters of the labor movement marked by the memory of the victims that their members filed a workers' movement to push for greater labor rights.
Today, early in the morning, people go to nature, to prepare a meal and spend time celebrating Labor Day.
They're about the specialties of grilled meat, roast pork and lamb on the spit.
