At low tide, local women come out of their villages to catch snails to feed their families.

Village women are also responsible for farming seaweed that they sell to companies abroad for various products such as creams, ointments and even food in some countries.

la femme est belle,j'adore les couleurs de ses vêtements et son leger reflet,et c'est superbement mis en valeur par la douce lumière.
Comme d'habitude, la qualité est excellentissime,on croirait sentir la texture du tissu sous nos doigts.
Bref, c'est magnifique.

Hi André,
The fact that you have captured her complete refelction makes for a great compositional element, and I like that she is caught in action at work. The light is soft and yet it brings out the richness of the colour especially the spike of red from her dress which adds a nice spark to the shot, whilst the blues in various shades create a delicate and not overpowering background.

Hello André,

A very fine composition with a beautiful reflection of this lady in the smooth water. I even think she is giving you a smile too!

But what I fine most attractive about this picture is the way that the light has caught the folds in her white clothing - that is superb.

Perfect exposure with lots of fine detail in both the brightest and darkest parts, beautiful colours and exquisite sharpness.

A photo magnifique autant par le sujet que par la réalisation. Le contraste entre le premier et l'arrière plan est génial, les couleurs bien marquées mais douce et ce reflet ajoute une touche de poésie. Je suis vraiment impressionné par la qualité de cette photo, des détails du tissus, de cette sensation de dimension mais aussi de transparence.

Il en fallait forcément une de ces femmes tout de couleurs vêtues, travaillant à marée basse à Bweeju et sur toute la côte sud est, sur les algues, les fibres de noix de coco ou comme ici sur les coquillages
très bonne inclusion du reflet
