Photographer's Note
This is one of the simplest photos I've chosen to post on TE.
During a walk along a Nature Reserve in the Overberg coastal region of South Africa (Vermont), these white Hadeda birds flew away as I walked towards an amazing, totally unspoiled bay full of kelp and shells by the shoreline.
Because the sky was totally overcast, it is almost impossible to make out bird from cloud.

love it, simplicity at its best, and a good example how even the most minimalist composition can convey a strong mood and, in this case, sense of movement. great shot, my compliments.
best,

Hello,
Interesting shot by its unusual choice of setting toward the high light values. The white over white effect is catching the look.
The composition is balanced with birds on the 2 sides of the frame.
I would have only prefered to have a bit more sharpness on the birds if a higher shutter speed was possible.
Yves.
