“As the site is close to the sea, and Valencia is so dry, I decided to make water a major element for the whole site using it as a mirror for the architecture.”

Not much mirror on my photo but I found this pale blue at dusk attractive.

A truly mind-blowing confection of some of Europe's most awesome architecture, the City of Arts and Science in Valencia is one of Spain's top tourist attractions.This futuristic'city within a city' is exciting and imaginative millennium project. The entire complex, designed to celebrate the arrival of the 21 st century, looks as though it might have been beamed down to earth from another planet.

Following a disastrous flood in 1957, the river Turia was diverted along a canal to the south of the city, and the dried-out riverbed planted as a 7 kilometer long promenade through the center of the city. The promenade is crossed by two streamlined new bridges designed by Santiago Calatrava.

Good Morning Malgo,

I love how the whole scene is bathed in tones of blue, it completely unites it. You have created a lovely diagonal across the frame, excellent for your composition and making a natural r/l movement.
The details are nice and sharp in this truly 'Blue Hour' shot.

see lots of shots on TE of this fascinating place and this is a bit different mainly because of the subtle light and the gorgeous blues here. I love the effect and the sharp detailing is wonderful. An accomplished and beautiful image. Bravo!

Mitica...ormai questa immagine ....ma sempre fotogenica nelle varianti che conosco .
Le luci i colori interagiscono ...nelle diverse ore di giorno e notte ...condizionando colore forme .

Judicious cropping & impeccable sharpness here. Good minimalist color of blue blaack & white and well composed. It resembles a giant slug or snail. Interesting repetitive patterns & shapes. Tfs!

Hola Malgorzata,
niesamowite miejsce, akurat moje ostatnie zdjecie ktore juz widzialas dobrze pasuje do tego nastroju. Ciekawe ze w Polsce jakos nie wybieraja oryginalnych architektow ale wszyscy tworza dziela minimalistyczne tj jakies betonowe bloki.
To miejsce tutaj juz oczywiscie znane mi ze zdjec innych hiszpanskich kolegow robi ogromne wrazenie. Nie dziwie Ci sie ze chcialo Ci sie specjalnie do Walencji jechac zeby moc to zobaczyc.
Zdjecie rowniez bardzo udane kolorystyka nieziemska.
