Going on with my series and my journey from CUSCO to AGUAS CALIENTES, by train (BACKPACKER), here we were following the URUBAMBA river, to the north!

It was certainly one of the most wonderful train tours I had ever had in my whole life!

As the gorge became narrower and narrower, I really felt I was going towards a DREAM! I knew MACHU PICCHU will be at the end of that railroad, but looking at that landscape, I felt I was going much FARTHER... to the UNKNOWN!!!

With this image, in my mind, I feel the cold breeze and the ray of sun on my face, as I traveled with the open window the whole way! I also recall the noises, of the river, of the train... it feels so good, even today, almost 3 years later !!!

Olà Neyvan,

Un POV très effiace avec cette partie du trail dans le cadrage. Ce train et la rivière de montagne guide le regard et invite à la découvrete de cette belle image p^rofonde, riche en détails et en couleurs très naturelles et très bien captées.

Bonjour Neyvan

Belle prise en mouvement. Le train en ligne de fuite ouvre l'image sur cette belle cascade et les montagnes magestueuses qui l'entourent.

Neyvan,
This is a nicely composed shot using the side of the train to convey motion and direction. The river adds a nice diagonal to the scene with the house providing a nice focal point. The lighting and colors are great and the photo has fine sharpness.

Lots of elements to admire in this wide-angle shot Neyvan. And I like how you framed it especially with the river diagonal to the train. Exposure wise you appear to have done the best with the sunny condition. This is one place I'd like to visit someday. But for now that I don't have money and time, your photo will suffice. A good Sunday to you.

Bonsoir Neyvan,

La capture de la puissance du courant est un atout à la composition. La prise de vue envoie mon regard vers les montagnes ce qui donne de la profondeur à la composition. Elle permet aussi d'admirer ce paysage de montagnes. la lumière de la fin de l'avant-midi a un bel effet sur les couleurs de l'image. Bonne soirée.

Hi Neyvan,
Impressive gorge with steep mountains and wildly flowing streem at the bottom. Side view of the train is of course interesting to me. It also provides framing on the right and adds contrast. That journey be quite an experience!

a beautiful landscape photo. mighty mountains and small rivers and squeezed a little more space for the railroad. a very diverse country, it was interesting to travel by train.

Great shot you've taken from the train! It must be marvellous winding through the valley, between the mountains, with the rapid river flowing alongside. You've captured the essence of the train ride very well indeed!

Ive seen a documentary about this traintrip on TV,fantastic railway and location,this is one of the nicest railway vieuws Ive seen for long time,the weather is exelent.
