Les novices des temples bouddhistes du Ladakh ont de très longues journées Levés vers 5h, couchés vers 22h, ils sont sans cesse occupés par les activités religieuses ou scolaires, les repas, les tâches ménagères …. 
Alors quand ils ont parfois, comme ici à la fin de la prière du matin, quelques instants de récréation pour jouer ou parler avec leurs copains, quel plaisir !

 The young novices in the buddhist temples of Ladakh have long and busy days Awaken very early around 5 a.m, not sleeping before 10p.m, they are all day long busy with religious or school activities, meals, houseworks ….. 
Then, when they have a few instants for recess to play or talk with their friends, what a treat !

With this shot you combined culture and daylife very well.Great high POV and a good composition with these ancient painting and the dayly life in the foreground.Wonderful light in the foreground and nice shadows.

te voila de retour....c'est toi qui va reapprendre à TE à compter (je crois qu'il a des petits problemes depuis quelques temps à ce niveau là...)
encore une belle photo deces novices qui restent tout de meme encore un peu des enfants....
ça n'a pas du etre evident de gerer la lumiere...

The light was difficult but the result was still good and it's a nice and rather touching scene. You also managed to get the wall paintings well exposed.

Hi Patrick,

I have seen that you have a splendid collection of Ladakh and Kashmir. :) Have to revisit all of them.
In a short span of time it seems you have made the most out of monasteries and their daily lives.
Very nice moment and presented very well. A well balanced composition.

Ils ne regrdent pas la télé? Ils ont raison, c'est nul!
On sent la complicité entre eux. bonne gestion de la lumière bien que le sol soit un peu cramé.

complimenti per la gestione della luce.
Era molto difficile data la grande differenza di stop tra ombre e luci.
Il risultato è ottimo e l'atmosfera di amicizia tra il piccolo discepolo e il cane è intensa, piena di calore affettuoso.
Veramente un grande lavoro.

Bonjour le breton..
Une scene pleine de tendresse. Un très forte lumière qui un donne un contraste et des ombres que j'aime bien sauf peut-etre au niveau du sol. Pas facile de jouer sur l'expo avec ce type de prise de vue.

A lovely moment caught here: a candid which is also well framed, light-managed and interesting. The wall paintings which you've taken care to include, obviously add a sense of environment to this charming portrait. There is also a hint of mystery introduced (deliberately?) by the shadow of a person's head on the right.

Hello Patrick,

Compassion taught by Buddha is very essential to realizing enlightenment and this is exactly this young monk is doing be it a human or an animal. Like the way he is sitting with the dog. The colors, sharpness and light are well balanced.
