...falls every second. That accounts for 75750 gallons (287000 liters) of water per second the American and Bridal Veil Falls and 681750 gallons (2.3 million liters) over the Horses Falls.
You can see in WS another photo from the Falls.

trevormoffiet (3112) 2013-10-30 4:27
Your image has certainly captured the power of these falls.A good dominant composition with the extent of he falls going from left to right frame above the vegetation and the people.
Royaldevon (32641) 2013-10-30 4:32
What you have captured, for viewers, is the spirit of the falls. There is no doubting its tremendous power as it crashes over the rift causing clouds of spray and dwarfing the onlookers.
The diagonal composition accentuates the contrast of light and shadow.
Have a great day,

This is almost incredible the big waterfall high above the place where you took these picture.
The tourist to the right side are already more close with the waterfall.
Almost all details are very well to see.
Excellent composition, nice captured.
Very well done, TFS.

These are two fascinating shots. This one also has a great balance of colours and a superb light. The people dressed in blue look like they are walking dramatically close to the water.
mrichat (1727) 2013-10-30 5:02
i like composition, the size of men and the size of the waterfall.these two combination make feel how large the falls one...The huge. Nice control of light.
boa (6235) 2013-10-30 5:25
this waterfall beat most of the falls i have seen! It is incredible powerful and a respectful amount of water that falls every second. I like your pov, i can almost hear the roar from the water. I also like the diagonal from the trees, well done!
Have a nice day.

Cela fait beaucoup d'eau en une journée.Tu as su trouver un point de vue original qui donne une grande impression de puissance des éléments. La lumière est magnifique.

To be honest, I can't swim to save my life so this composition immediately gives me a queasiness in my stomach. But in this fine composition, that's a very good thing meaning that I'm feeling like I am right there with the spray in my face. Fantastic work, the best pov and tremendous technical management. Oh, the procession of trekkers in the WS image resembles a human Great Wall of China! Very nice. Regards, Derek

Hello Dear Serghei,
You chose a spectacular vantage point to reveal the magnitude of the flow. I understand, in terms of volume that falls over the precipice, Niagara Falls are dwarfed in comparison to the Iguazu Falls in South America, and those in turn are dwarfed by Victoria Falls in South Africa. But in this photo, I cannot imagine a greater volume.

Very impressive shot of the amazing Niagara Falls. The small group of people really give us a good sense of the sheer size of this imposing falls.
have a great day

Wow, this looks so much more powerful and intense on a larger screen, yeah?!! :) Terrific vantage point for this shot, and the inclusion of the other tourists in the foreground really puts the size into perspective. Amazing you kept your camera dry and out of harms way, I can feel the mist from here! A well planned composition with immediate impact that highlights the impressive falls. What a strong look and feel from this imagery. A true idea of natures force. Glad you were able to experience this wonder. Enjoy the day ahead.
All my best,

Another nice shot from the falls. The people look so little next to this massive wave of water. I also like the big cloud of mist on the lower right. It looks like you enjoyed a sunny day at Niagara Falls. Maybe you caught a rainbow, too??

A really nice experimental shot of the Niagara falls and very appealing indeed.I love the silvery reflections.Very well done .TFS.

I´ve been ther in mid April(10 years ago) and there were still tons of snow. Here on your shot it looks much better now and definitely "warmer":)
I like your presentation of the mighty Niagara.Your POV including poeople was a good move to give a sense of scale of Niagara falls.
It´s amazing to look and to think what magnificent wonders create nature.
Impressive and beautiful!
Have a nice day

Zdravo Serghei. You have captured the power and grandeur of these falls. The wall of water looks like a tsunami approaching. Great effect created by the light. Pozdrav. Klaudio.

What a sensation of the power of this deluge of water in a very fine composition, especially that you got all all of those tiny little people in the frame too! Someday I will see this place too :)
All the best

Although I have seen (and even taken) may photos of the Niagara Falls, this one is unique. Well done, it is especially difficult to take a potable photo of a place that has been over-photographed. Congrats!
PaulVDV (24029) 2013-11-02 2:43
Here we find two original POV's and views of the famous Niagara Falls.
You really succeeded in showing us the falls as an overwhelming mass of water crashing down. More than in the general views we usually see.
I'm a bit disappointed by the number of visitors ... but I understand everyone likes to visit the interesting places.
Best regards, Paul
NorthernLight (2377) 2013-11-05 4:49
water. Always a great topic in photography. In this picture, you have captured excellently the power of the water, which roars down this waterfall.
An impressive picture! Better to stay ashore. But sometimes someone tries it to run downstreams on the water, is said.
All the best

very interesting slice of the landscape in the famous falls. I liked the presence of the personages adding life and scale to this compo. nice use of the "giant wave" visual effect. TFS.
thank you for the image of that russian landscape you sent me.
