Photographer's Note
The Kuang Si Falls, sometimes spelled Kuang Xi, is a three tier waterfall about 29 kilometres (18 mi) south of Luang Prabang in Laos. These waterfalls are a favourite side trip for tourists in Luang Prabang. The falls begin in shallow pools atop a steep hillside. These lead to the main fall with a 50 m cascade. The water collects in numerous turquoise blue pools as it flows downstream. The many cascades that result are typical of travertine waterfalls.
The locals charge a nominal admission fee to visit the site, but it is well main maintained with walkways and bridges to guide the visitor. Most of the pools are open to swimming (although at least one is closed as being a sacred site). Hikers are able to climb to the top of the falls.

Hello Serghei,
What a pleasant scene. Beautiful movement and colours very well captured. Excellent composition and exposure also. Initially I thought cropping off on the left to the centre of the tree's stem might work well, but not necessary. Altogether a very pleasant scene.

Bonjour Serghei
J'aime beaucoup l'effet de filé que donne la longue exposition sur cette belle petite cascade. La luminosité est parfaite et le cadrage très artistique.

Hi Serghei,
wow, that's a beautiful picture. You found just the right shutter speed to get an appropriate effect on the water. I visited Luang Prabang but I didn't get to see this one. Cool shot!

Hello Serghei,
I went here in 1999 & a few years later I was astonished to see a photo of a wild tiger in front of the same waterfall! Good closeup on the coconut shell shaped silica terraces. The turquoise colour of the water is natural. Tfs!

Une très bonne photo de cette cascade. Tu as très bien choisi la vitesse pour obtenir ce filé qui rend très bien la sensation de mouvement de l'eau.

Hi Serghei,
One of the must see place in Luang Phrabang, especially when it is so hot and it is nice and refreshing to dip in the water here. Beautiful shot with great POV and love the smooth texture of the waterfalls in such natural and pristine setting.

Bonjour Serghei,
Une photo pleine de mouvement qui se traduit bien par ce filé au niveau de la cascade. Un petit coin de paradis où chantent sans doute les oiseaux, à l'unisson avec la rivière.
De belles lumières qui font vibrer les couleurs de la nature.
Regards.
Daniel.
