From 6km aerial distance, a night view on Tel-Aviv skyline. The Aviv-Tower on left third part on image.
Cropped on lower part from a 16:9 aspect ratio, used an iron railing on 4th floor insted of a tripod.
The points of glare on sky are stars above the smog blanket cover the city.
RAW converted into JPEG
A 25sec. exposure.

nice the night view of the city from Tel-Aviv's skyline.I like the panoramic view with the skyscrapers lights to turn on and the black foreground to contrast perfect with the illuminated part of the image.

i like this nocturnal view, also for its nearly panoramic format. there is not noise, I see only some points that could be glares on the glasses, have you photographed from behind a glass? Aviv tower is really very high.

A nice panoramic view of this great city captured at night. There is absolutely no glare and well balanced image.Very auccessful image without a tripod. Good sharp image.

Hello Ike,

Very good night picture from Israel with an interesting composition and a good light managment. I would have tried to crop about 2 cm of the lower part of the picture to limitata the black part. Nevertheless a good fotojob.TFS.

A wonderful image with this beautiful skyline of the city, I like the intense contrast of black on the bottom of the image that makes the building stand out better with their illuminations, beautiful blue sky tone despite being dark.

Hi Ike,

The wideness of the dark area is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the Tel-aviv skyline at night. Using a shutter speed of 25 seconds has a special effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

Hi Ike

I see that you are experimenting more and more with the manual mode on your camera for your nightshots. I am happy to see a low ISO like 80 used. When I am shooting nocturnals, I usually will use an ISO of 50 or 100, an aperture of f9 to f/11 and whatever the meter says for the exposure. The unfortunate thing with sooming is that the more soom, the more noise. So things that are focussed on from a distance will never be completely sharp. But you have done a good job here. I like the strips of black and the golden lights are very pretty. Nice work, have a beautiful day.

Horizontal format and POV well selcetd for the presentation of this nice night's shot. Good managment of light with the coloured light which arise very well. The alignement of high edifices is very graphic too.

Hello Ike,

No bad picture but not your best of the last period.
We get lovely elements with good light and a lot skyscrapers as subject.
The foreground is a little bit dark, this is a choice of the photographer.
The next time better as always.

Hello Ike,

This is a very nice night scene. 25 seconds without a tripod can be a long time. But the result is splendid. In each image of the town both daytime and nighttime looks beautiful. In the foreground, there is a very dark part of the town, so that the centre of the city looks like it is floating on a plane. All the mixture of the illumination makes this image very attractive. The cinematic format is very nice. Is the town safe enough to walk around at night with a very expensive digital camera? Taking photos at night is fine, but one must be very careful with it. Thank you Ike for this wonderful photo.
