Photographer's Note

This is the view we had of Sydney Harbour at New Year's Eve - in part thanks to Craig (macjake). I've made the pilgrimmage to Sydney Harbour foreshore many years in the past - the most memorable being in 2000 when an f1-11 fighter jet zoomed the Bridge. So I was a bit antsy about braving the crowds again. Anyway, Craig convinced me. 1.5 million people came to see this spectacle, it was pure madness but a great way to see in the New Year. This photo was taken from the 28th floor of an office in Sydney's Central Business District, through a glass window. It was a fantastic night, topped off by the hangover from hell. Thanks again Craig ;)
