the scene looks so tranquil and calm-it conveys well these feelings.
I like the way you composed and framed the scene with so lovely reflections in the water. But even more the combination of so captivating soft light and vivid colors.
Have a nice day

hi Brian, a nice picture of this bridge here. Love the reflection in water. Lovely saturated colours. Excellent composition. The green grasses you added in foreground nicely enhanced the depth of it. Superb shot. Tfs.

What a splendid capture of River Arun bridge. The FG and BG are crisp and filled with wonderful color. Your position for taking this capture is ideal with the reeds nicely lit and the bridge so well displayed. BRAVO!

un ponte magnifico con un riflesso altrettanto bello.
C'è una bella luce calda che batte sul ponte e che lo fa contrastare con il cielo.
Uno scatto molto bello in un luogo splendido.

Amazing this has been standing longer than it would seem history books can recount!? :) I'm most impressed to see and know of such strong and fortified structures well before any of today's modern knowledge and advances in architecture...they sure knew what they were doing back then! I would venture a guess that most people would go in closer to capture the entire reflection within the frame, and I think it's brilliant on your part to keep a step back and include some of the grass in the foreground for added color and depth. Lovely warm tones and a calming atmosphere, a real quiet beauty this one. Enjoy the day ahead.
Friendly wishes from the U.S.,
Thanks for the notes today, I truly appreciate the sentiments.

Looks almost Roman in origin. A superb symmetrical reflection with perfect density and sharpness. Excellent saturation and framing with good diminishing linear perspective and vanishing point top left. The fg grass adds depth. Tfs!

great shot with a percet light management, superb reflections on water and well composed with the FG, interesting depth effect.

One of my favourite places. I hope that you tried the pub that looks out on the bridge. I think that I mentioned it before (and did upload some pictures I think) but there are fabulous wild daffodil woods close by.
The ancient stone bridge has some lovely warm lighting and beautifully reflected in the calm river. An excellent clean image with pleasing diagonals and FG.
Kind Regards, Ann

An excellently composed picture with the diagonal lines of the bridge (and its reflection) and the reed on the FG.
The calm water reflects the bridge and the trees perfectly and the brown colours are so nice between the blue of the sky and the water.
This is truly a very beautiful bridge.
Best regards, Paul
