Gröna Lund is an amusement park at Djurgården island in Stockholm city center, right by the waterfront. The carousel is called the Chain Flyer and stretches out over the water.
There was a most beautiful sunset, but one hour earlier we had been listening to Flogging Molly in the heavily pouring rain...

What a magnificent view of Stockholm at sunset, the beautiful colours of the sunset and the strong dark outline of the cityscape. The little sneak view of water is a real bonus.
All added to in no small part by the very clever overlay of the gallopers at full tilt - beautiful ! The lights on the machinery work well in your compostion and brings it all to life.

Thanks for your encouraging comments and appreciation. I always think that photography is nothing but innovation of ideas and creative skills. No two person would shoot the same in a given situation and that is creativity and here you have created a gem out of a very normal setting - a sunset. A very beautiful silhoutted photo with the city spires in the background and the beautiful colors of evening light as well..The swinging chain flyer in the foreground with all the action, makes the shot even more exiting..cheers.
